Skyworld places you at the helm of your forces in the beautiful Skyworld. Taking place on a number of floating lands, you must manage your population and command your armies so that you can go on to conquer other floating worlds. Build and upgrade your forces, compete in 1v1 online matches, take part in story based campaign modes, and more. Skyworlds is beautifully cartoon-ish, done in a way that really gives you a feel of scale—that this is a miniature world which you preside over. The controls are simple, and the nature of the game lends itself very well to VR—things like motion sickness shouldn't be an issue here. The music is of a very high quality, and the voice work feels professional. This really is one of the more polished VR games out there.
Almost Perfect
Skyworlds is about as good as it gets. It looks and sounds great, is easy to control, and fun to play. It isn't without problems, however. It's a bit pricey for one thing, it can start to feel a bit repetitive after a while, and the choice of units and buildings is somewhat limited. Despite this, it is a great game.
